Devrecipes is an effort at creating a handy reference of solutions to the myriad of problems/issues encountered during the course of application development. The issues faced by developers are varied and more often than not a considerable amount of time is spent in resolving such problems. In most cases these are revisited again in later projects and the lack of a ready reference results in considerable heartburn.
If not anything else, Devrecipes attempts to at least be a platform where solutions are documented and available for others.

At times it is also necessary to get a head start on a new technology or product in a few quick steps without getting immersed in documentation. Devrecipes will also include such ‘quick and dirty’ guides.

Since Devrecipes is targeted mainly towards experienced developers, it is assumed that readers already have beginner level knowledge. If there is recipe involving Java servlets for instance, it is assumed that you understand java and know how to deploy servlets in containers.
